Jeanette is head of the Linguistics Program at the University of Minnesota. Her research focuses primarily on pragmatics and grammatical theory. She was my dissertation advisor and we have been collaborating on papers for 20 years.

Marjorie is Co-Director of the Language-Endowed Intelligent Agents Lab. We worked with each other for about 5 years in a research lab at New Mexico State University where we collaborated on several research projects related to lesser taught languages.
