Course Description

There are 1,000 required books for this class. However, we will not read any of them. Instead we will use computational linguistics and text mining techniques to explore and analyze the texts. For example, we may explore the differences between female and male writers or look for historical trends. We will learn computational linguistics techniques and learn how these can be applied to digital humanities.
